It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for a good family adventure. And while I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places, there’s nothing like experiencing a new place with your own family. So when I got the chance to spend a week in the Dominican Republic with my wife and two young sons, I couldn’t say no.
Our journey started with a long flight from the States to the beautiful island of Hispaniola. Once we arrived, we were immediately thrown into the culture and excitement of the local scene. We got to explore the vibrant cities of Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros, tasted the delicious local cuisine, and even took in a few games of baseball at the local ballpark.
But the best part of our trip was spending time with our family. We explored the lush countryside, took in the stunning views of the mountains, and spent lazy days at the beach. Our boys had a blast and I can’t wait to do it all over again.
