Austria

The Q family adventures in Austria began with a few months in the country. Our family enjoyed every minute of it and learned so much about the culture and people. We are already looking forward to our next trip! You know the drill: vacationing with the kids is the best way to get a break from work, right? Well, sometimes a break from work is just what you need- especially if you’re a working mom. This year, we decided to take our brood of six on a family adventure to Austria. We booked a cabin in the Austrian Alps and got to work packing our bags for a week of skiing, hiking, and adventuring.

Some tips if you’re thinking of taking your family on a trip like this:

1. Make a plan.

Before you even start packing, make a list of what you want to do and where you want to go. This will help you stay organized and not get overwhelmed.

2. Pack light.

If you’re packing for a weeklong trip, try to pack as light as possible. This will save you money and make it easier to move around.

3. Book early.

booking your trip in advance will help you get the best deals. And it’s always nice to have some flexibility in your vacation plans!

4. Pack snacks and drinks.

Pack snacks and drinks for the car, the plane, and your hotel room. This will help you avoid eating out all the time and save you money.
